The OYA Warriors will be holding tryouts for its Part-Time Travel Team for the upcoming 11U baseball season on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 10 a.m. to noon at Centennial Park, Field #2.  The tryout is open to all children born between 5/1/99-4/30/00.  The team will play in both the OYA recreational league next year, along with the Sunday Metro League and a tournament schedule.  The team will be managed by Russ Bozzetti- please contact him with any questions at 708.205.7289.

The OYA is offering Volleyball for ages 5th thru HS.  It is a short season--try it out, you might like it!

BOYS VOLLEYBALL - Registration is open online at www.oyaboys.org.  You can also register at the office on Wednesdays from 6-9pm.  (This Wed 9/1 the office will only be open from 5:30-7:30pm). The program runs October  through mid November.  Practices and Games will probably be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Sportsplex.  The season ends with a round of playoffs.

5th/6th/7th/8th grade - This league typically forms 4-6 teams, and games are held at 6pm or 7pm on Monday and Thursday nights.

We are looking for HS students to officiate the games for community service hours.  You must have some experience.
Also we need coaches who understand the game of volleyball.

High School - This age group is new this year.  We are extending the age to all HS players.  Games are held at 8pm or 9pm on Monday and Wednesday nights.
