2007 Picnic
This year's OYA Boys Picnic was held on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007.
The picnic featured shetland games, all star games, free hot dog and drink for all OYA Boys baseball players, entertainment, Swingtown Tent, and other surprises!

OYA Board, Commissioners, Managers,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and everyone of you not just for the help you gave me and OYA organization at the picnic, but for my WHOLE 10 year OYA experience!
It seems this will be my last year in OYA as my son moves on to Sandburg. As I move on I can see OYA is in good hands, STILL providing a positive atmosphere, a place for kids to come to together to enjoy friends and most importantly keep away from temptation.
I've come to realize over the years we are more then just coaches, we are friends, teachers, consulars, leaders, and to some a father figure. I coached the 14 year old Pony All-stars and what a pleasure it was to see these players grow through the OYA experience.
(I had some of these players since they were 5 years old!)
As we play a role in their development it makes every minute I volunteered over the years even more meaningful. I still remember the first time Tim Berkovic called me to coach Shetland, I was unsure if I could do it. Ten years later I realize it was one of the best decisions I ever made!

The picnic includec a free hot dog, chips, and drink for all OYA players.
The picnic featured Dynojump, Dunk Tank, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Balloon Sculpture, All Star Baseball Games, and other Fun and Games.
The picnic this year also featured a raffle, with the following prizes:
- (3) Autographed Picture of Ron Coomer (2001 Chicago Cubs)
- (6) Free Lesson at Swingtown
- (18) Free 1/2 Hour Cage Time at Swingtown
- (4) Swingtown Hat
